Combining the best of computer science and mathematics, this major will take you from multivariable calculus to machine learning. And with data playing an increasingly important role in decision making, you’ll examine the ethical dimensions of how data is used. You’ll be prepared for sought-after technology careers in business, government, health care, scientific research and beyond.

You will be assigned two dedicated advisors—one from computer science and one from mathematics—who will check in with you regularly to help you identify goals and opportunities, track your progress and clear obstacles from your path. You’ll have access to tutoring in STEM and other disciplines, research and writing assistance, and more. Professors with real-life experience will connect you with internship and job opportunities. In small classes averaging just 16 students, you’ll forge lasting connections with classmates and faculty mentors.
